first, let’s do a check up🪴😄🤟🏻 So look at the soil, is it draining too little or is it retaining too much water? Calathea are extremely picky so make sure you’re giving your plant the Right conditions. Check the leaves for any bugs, pests or spiderwebs . If there are pest, use a pesticide like Captain Jack Dead bug brew. 🪴😄🪴🪴 Good luck pal 😎🤟🏻🪴

The leaves of a different plant of mine started to look very similar to this recently - used a flashlight and sure enough, I found a few spider mites, and have been treating it since. It’s possible this isn’t your issue, but couldn’t help but notice that it looks just like what’s going on on my end

I would definitely say spider mites. If you zoom in on that first pic, you can see the thin webbing near the stem. I second the dead bug brew and if that doesn’t work, there are more things to try. I have this exact plant that I am rehabbing from spider mites and this is what it looked like too.

Should I cut the yellow leaves off?

They won’t ever go green so it is kinda up to you. They will slowly dry up and die off if you don’t. I’ve done it both ways
