Hi, I’ve discovered some odd things on a couple of my plants, on one of my hoya there are these black dots and on my money plant there are white dots and milky looking patches, does anyone know what they are?

The white spots look like mineral deposits from water. A mix of vinegar and water on a cloth should remove them. Not sure about the black dots though.

Not sure about the Hoya. I’m thinking maybe edema. I’ve also read that the white spots on the pilea are mineral residue from the water or soil being released through the stomata (pores), which then look like hard water deposit on the leaves.

The black dots are probably from overwatering. I had them as well for my Hoya when I first got it, ended up waiting until the soil completely dried out before watering again and that seemed to fix it.
