Anybody know what this is or how to get rid of him? I picked up a beautiful looking inch plant at a yard sale, came home to report, and several of these little guys were in the soil 😧😧

Looks like a regular centipede. Probably fine. The lady I get plants from uses some creepy crawlies for beneficial purposes. I’d say take them out if you’re not a fan. Otherwise leave em be
2개 좋아요Do they spread from plant to plant? Just wondering because this is supposed to be an indoor and I didn't want them to get out and start roaming around my house!

0개 좋아요Oh-no usually I wouldn’t buy a plant from like a garage sale or yard sale but you might just wanna get rid of it. I don’t really know I’m a new plant parent so if I’m wrong, really sorry.

좋아요 1개I got to clean the soil!! I didn't know that was even an option. But I ended up soaking it in some water with stuff I added to it, removing most of the soil, and then repotting it. I think I'm gonna wait a week or two and see if she bounces back. Hopefully so! First and LAST time buying a plant at a yard sale 😅
