I just came to my grandmas house and her aloe Vera plant is kind of like molding. Random pieces of the plant fall off. Those pieces are really watery. It used to be in a small pot with very little drainage and she just recently moved it to a large pot with drainage. She doesn’t water the plant very often. Does anyone know what’s happening to it?

Looks like it’s rotting in the core which means the roots are rotting. I recommend carefully removing the pot and soil to examine the roots. Remove all rot from the plant. Toss the soil. Disinfect the pot/tools with hydrogen peroxide. Replace with fresh soil. The pot is too big if there is standing smelly (rotting) water in it and takes long to completely dry. You may have to propagate the healthy leaves if nothing else is salvageable. Rinse everything with hydrogen peroxide to kill bacteria before propagating.

I would definitely remove anything mushy, and repot into chunkier soil.
