Snake plant been rejected but I'm going to try bring him back to life. Just repotting him with some different soil in the same pot. should I cut the dead leaves off, give him a strong watering and then put him back on my window? He is an indoor plant btw

Even though it is dry, it does not look like a snake plant to me. But I would remove the dead leaves when replacing the soil.

Hahaha! I was thinking it might be green onions! Okay, spider plant makes much more sense! I’d cut the dead leaves off, then repot in good draining soil mix. Spider plants don’t like roots sitting in water.

It’s very dry and may need more fertilizer and more light because it’s pale as well. The roots could have dry rot. The roots should be thick and plump instead of shriveled. Soak the soil in water about 30 minutes to allow the soil and roots to fully hydrate. Trim the dead leaves. Fertilize and add SuperThrive Plant Vitamins. Place in an east or south window. Add a grow light within a foot from the plant if needed. The plant should have dark green leaves when healthy. 🪴🍀
