If u need advice hmu, took me three rounds of seeds before I got any luck keeping the leaves. If you’re gonna have them inside, you’ll have to make sure the water temp in your house will stay above 70. Basically theylll grow too slow and rot before the plant can grow the right leaves to get oxygen.

Wow, I have them in the living room right now summer is really hot but with the air conditioning on the room is cool, the instructions say to add soil for aquatic plants later but I want to leave them with just water if any grow

They will grow without soil but once they start sprouting roots they’ll be looking for soil. You if the ac is on even in a bright window THEYRE growth will get stunted. But earlier this year when it was cold i has succes using a fish tank heater. It’s super tiny like the size of a fish stick and was like 17$

But those seemed to be the issues getting me started. I also did notice they really do need light. Im determined to have a beautiful lotus growing in my bedroom, but I cover all my windows cause we have no ac. So I have had to fuss around with the grow light a lot. Didn’t realize grow light could burn leaves

Oh, in the living room where I have it the light from the balcony window reaches it, it’s not exposed to heat and the winter it will not get any heat from the heater either, I hope it grows at least three out of ten

Okay but it does need heat and you’ll definitely need the heater in the winter and spring!
