Hi all, can anyone figure out why my citrus tree looks so unhappy? I am worried that it has HLB, but can't tell if the yellow mottling is due to that or just to me not taking care of it correctly. I am in zone 10b, water it about every 5 days, I have slow release fertilizer in the soil, and am using all purpose soil. It is fully outside and gets direct sun from about noon to sunset (7ish hrs). Thanks :)

You should definitely try fish and seaweed fertilizer! Might have some deficiencies like, use a citrus fertilizer instead of all purpose

See if there’s any root rot but I guess look for bugs too it never hurts to

Yellowing on the older/established leaves on a citrus tree typically means a nutrient deficiency (nitrogen) or that it’s over watered. Check the drainage holes in your pot to ensure they aren’t clogged. If they are, just remove debris so water can drain out properly. If the drainage holes are fine, it could just be telling you that it needs fertilizer! I use one specific to citrus trees and mine are as happy as could be! I recently bought 2 citrus trees and did a LOT of homework on them ☺️. Hope this helps! Good luck!!
