Help! My baby rubber has been loosing her leaves over the past month. I repotted right when I noticed, and the roots didn’t look that great. Been watering every 10 days probably, only when soil is wet. Now one leaf has started to turn brown at the tip. Idk what to do!
Give that baby a new plastic planter with good drainage, 1-2” more space and fresh airy soil, then keep an eye on overwatering or underwatering. Good luck!

I have a baby rubber, I’m not an expert at all but I find mine does well with very little attention. Mine is in a pot about the same size as yours but mine is about x3 sizes taller, and I only water mine at the moment every 30ish days when the soil is dry. I find mine tells me when it wants water by starting to lean a little. Not sure what environment yours is in of course but mine has no grow light or humidifier, just normal room temp about 60cm from a window and seems very happy. Hope that helps in some way!
0개 좋아요My Ruby is growing great in a small terracotta pot that has drainage. I have her in a soil mixture of potting soil with added perlite and orchid bark. I do have a small grow light that points in her direction but not directly on her. I only water when completely dry. She’s loving it! 😍

Peperomia obtusifolia is a succulent. It needs succulent/cactus soil, soil should be totally dry before watering, and enjoys bright light. When it needs to be watered, leaves will be bendable. Roots are shallow so appropriate planter. I would suggest a shallow terracotta planter to avoid overwatering. Does not need extra humidity. Every 10 days seems way too often. Should be about 2 to 3 weeks. I just checked mine, Planta has them both scheduled to be watered every 4 weeks. And their schedule has been right.
