Hi I’ve had this asparagus fern for about a year, new shoot came though about 2 weeks ago and then had gone massively downhill, drooping / lost green colour / ferns falling off is this beyond saving or is there any chance it can recover / what should I do

    Did you recently repot it?

If you did that’s why it’s over watered the pot is wayyyyyy too big.

You want the roots to be 1-2 inches smaller than the pot.

Also try using a 1-1-1 fertilizer might help revive it but do that after you repot into smaller pot

Is there a smaller plastic pot inside the ceramic pot? It may not be an overwatering issue, if so. Check the moisture level before watering. It looks too dry to me. Consider moving it if it’s sitting over a heater that can quickly dry out a thin leaf plant like this one. Ensure it’s getting enough light. It should get at least 8 hours in a south facing window and sitting within a foot from the windowpane. The better alternative is using a grow light for at least 12 hours with the light placed about 1 ft from the top of the plant. 🍀🪴

If there’s a plastic pot it might need new soil as to why it’s drying it’s not absorbing enough water.

It could also be that it getting humid in there because of the bigger pot.
