Greetings, Newbie here. Sick African Violet which I repotted due to overwatering. Current status pic is one with the greened leaves. I admit that it seems I was a bit sloppy with the repotting, dirt fell on leaves and such and just discovered how I need to be careful not to get water on the leaves when watering. But now I’m concerned about thrips. I cannot distinguish dirt from thrips. I don’t see anything moving, but have seen what look like fruit flies flying around the plant. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, I’m following the schedule now. The updated pic is the second pic.

I see no thrips, only dirt. The tiny flies are probably fungus gnats, who want to eat the decaying/dead leaves. I've found my african violet has done really well with a self-watering style pot. Yours seems to be well on its way to a full recovery 😀

I ended up misting the plant and soil with a very diluted solution of neem and cleaned up the decaying leaves. Time to let it rest and recuperate.
