Does anyone know the best way to pot a sensitive plant? I had it in its plastic nursery pot for a while and it was doing well there but I knew it would dry out while I was on vacation. I took it out and it had root rot so I trimmed as much as I could and put it in water. It’s been in here for about two weeks and pretty much all the leaves are starting to yellow on the ends and they don’t open up as much as they used to. I like that it can’t die in a few hours if it dried out like it would in a pot, but the leaves seem worse off than after I tried to fix the root rot.

Did you soak the roots in peroxide and water after cutting the roots because of the root rot?

I did not…first time it’s ever happened to me so I probably should’ve looked into it more first

That’s ok! You can still do it and place it back in regular water afterward.

looks like transplant shock. these guys are really dramatic when their roots are handled too much. avoid messing with it. it may die but letting it be is the best course of action for now.
