Hi! Just wanted to make sure this was normal and there not unhealthy, the bottom leaves of this plant have turned yellowish and died off, all the others are healthy.

I’m no expert, but I think sometimes this can be normal but sometimes it can be a sign of an underlying problem. Recently my dracaena had about 4 dead leaves at the bottom, and upon closer inspection I found it had spider mites. But I also think it’s part of normal growth to drop the older leaves as it grows new ones. So I’d just look it over closely to make sure there aren’t any pests, and then pull that dead leaf off. Also, dracaenas don’t like tap water, so I’d make sure it’s being watered often enough and preferably with spring water

      Ok! Does distilled water work?

I’m glad to see this comment because a wishlist plant of mine is a dracaena 😂

I have 9 dracaena, some of which are quite tall, none of which drink distilled water. All of which are thriving. Some of which I’ve had for close to 3 years. Remember, distilled water doesn’t fall from the sky and these plants do well in nature. Yours is beautiful!

I have the same plant, and it’s been normal for my plant to drop its lower leaves. It’s part of growing.

I catch rain water. It’s not so easy in the summer, or I take them outside so they can catch as much as possible. This one does better outside in my opinion (when the weather permits).
