The pot seems a bit too big for it, I would suggest repotting it into a smaller pot. It looks like it doesn’t get enough light either. Maybe move it to a brighter spot?

Looks like Shrek may need a little more light. Make sure you put him in a nice bright area

That’s a lot of soil for such a small Shrek. Real Shrek is a fat man in a small coat. Your Shrek is like a fat coat on a small man. The soil is far too much for your little Shrek. Repot in a pot 1” smaller in diameter and consider trying to propagate or cutting the stems and rooting them in soil. Good luck 🍀

This is the best plant advice I’ve ever received & I think about it almost daily. All I can picture now is a small shrek in a large coat

Yes, lots of light and less water. I wouldn’t worry about the size of the pot right now, it doesn’t need the extra trauma. Plus, all plants grow on the earth and well that’s pretty big. 🤣

this comment ignores the fact that plants in the wild grow in communities, and excess water is quickly absorbed or drains away. when plants are in pots, too much soil can quickly lead to root rot as it stays soggy and suffocates the roots

And this comment ignores the fact that I was referring to not adding extra trauma for right now, but water less and transplant later. Either way it’s up to this person but I appreciate your knowledgeable comment.

looks like it’s been over watered and/or the pot is too big. i’d suggest checking the roots for rot and treating it if necessary. a 2-3” pot would be more appropriate for a plant this size. make sure the soil is totally dry before watering again, and if you’re unsure it’s always best to wait
