Hey! I need some help with my Alocasia if anyone has advice. It had spider mites a few weeks ago so I treated it with Captain Jack’s Dead Bug Brew and it seems to have completely eliminated them. Since then, it has dropped all its leaves and they looked like this picture. Does anyone know if this is just a result of the spider mites or if there’s something wrong with the watering/lighting? I also don’t see any new growth and it seems to be declining, so that’s alarming. Advice would be very much appreciated:)

Mine did this after I used a diy pest spray for spider mites. I think my situation was the spray killing all the leaves because it was going strong for 5-6 months before that. I don’t spray the leaves directly anymore. Don’t know if this helps or not 😅

Could you give me any advice on soil or watering as well? I’ve never had an alocasia before so I’m not sure what they like

I have mine in semi hydro but the other one’s I have in a chunky soil mix are in self watering pots, I fertilize every time I fill the bottom with water with 1/2 the normal amount (foliage pro) and I use aquarium water conditioner (api stress coat) in my tap water. I’m not an expert by any means yet but it’s worked pretty good for me. And I believe most of them like lots of indirect light.
