Agma the Destroyer

Hey guys. I really don't think I've been over watering this guy. If anything I'm under watering it. But I notice the yellow brownish colour creeping down one or two of the leaves. I've had this happen to my aloe plants before and it killed them. Is there something wrong with this plant you can see? Are these healthy roots? None feel squishy. Should I snip away the affected brown leaves? Does it need more frequent watering or something? I water it about once a month

Annoyingly over and under watering can cause similar symptoms in the plants. I would definitely say this guy could use a repot. If you go up about two inches in pot size and break up the root ball a bit as you repot it should do well! I would also remove the two leaves that are turning yellow. It could just be that they’re older leaves too

Agree with Kades! Out of that plastic pot and into terra cotta to aid in the drying of your soil. Aloe likes sandy gritty soil that helps the water run though. It could be that the plastic pot is trapping more moisture than your aloe prefers
