I just recently noticed that my Maria Arrowhead plant had little bugs in the soil that weren’t aphids. I did some research and found something called Fungus Gnats- How do I get rid of them?? I believe that’s what the little bugs are.

Neem oil, or you can use “sexy plant juice”. Homemade in a spray bottle 2 cups of water 2 Tbs neem oils 2 Tbs alcohol and 1Tbs peppermint soap (give or take, I don’t actually measure) you can spray the leaves roots and soil. May be worth repotting if there bad enough rinse the whole plant and roots, spray the roots and repot in a chunky mix soil then treat the plant with sexy plant juice. You can gently whip leaves down after spraying as well. This has worked for every plant that I’ve ever had get fungus gnats Good luck

Water your plants with mosquito bits soaked in water. Kills larvae in the soil and add yellow sticky trap to the soil. Also let your plant dry out significantly between watering and monitor how long it takes your soil to dry. Your soil may be retaining too much water.

I put peroxide in my water when I give my plants a drink. That seems to have worked better than the Bonide granules. 1 part peroxide to 4 parts water. I rarely see gnats now.
