My Snake Plant has some yellowing on the outer leaves as well as I’ve noticed it starting to droop just a bit. I think it’s because I was giving it filtered well water. I’m now giving it purified water but I was wondering if it will ever go back to normal color and stand straight up again?

How often do you rotate it? Or does it get good all around light? Considering how old this plant is, it may have turned to face the light, which has contributed to the droopy and twisted leaves. I have a family member has one that is over 20 years old, and she waters hers 1x per week with tap water (granted it’s not well water, it’s city water). You can help guide it straight up by putting something like a bamboo or plastic stick around the leaves. You won’t be able to guide the leaf if it is squishy/dying due to the well water/overwatering. As for the color, leaves turn brown/yellow, but can’t ever go back green. If it bothers you, you can cut the leaves and potentially propagate it if there is a healthy part. Or just leave it alone. I hope this makes sense! Snake plants are so hardy that they refrain from telling us when there’s an issue. :)
