Hi! This is my Kalanchoe and I just recently removed the dead blooms and leaves and I’m starting to notice the stems from where I cut the dead blooms off are turning yellow. I’m not sure if I should cut them down or what. I also have some yellow leaves with brown tips but their still green near the stem to. I’m not sure if I should cut those off as well. But along side all this I have lots of new growth so I’m very unsure with whats happening. Any advice would be great! Thank you!

Could you be overwatering? They like to dry out a bit between watering and yellow leaves are a symptom of overwatering. You want to check your roots for rot. If the plant is important to you I’d change out the soil, check the roots for rot and remove any rotten roots and spray the good roots with HP water before you plant it back in brand new soil. Never reuse your soil as root rot is infectious. That’s what I’d try especially if you’re seeing new growth. But at the very least I’d first check for bugs, and then just cut back on the water and see what happens. Good luck! You got this!

If it’s just from overwatering you don’t need to remove the damaged leaves but I do because I’m allergic to ugly leaves in my house. 😬
