Mo’ney my Pachira (Money Tree) has this one leaf that looks like this pictured below. I feel like it gets enough light, I’ve been rotating it ever so often because i read plants grow toward the light? (I’m a first time plant owner). I’ve been watering it when the top feels dry, I lifted the pot and it looks maybe too wet? Or does this look ok? Also am I supposed to continue to use twist ties at some point to help the branches to keep “braiding”?

How often are you watering it?

When the top feels dry, I haven’t been feeling 2in into the soil so maybe it is overwatering?

I love pachira trees, I have 4 and yours look amazing! As for the watering, pachira trees are strong against drought so you don't have to water as often. Since it's not a big pot, Water it when the top 2 inches are dry. And for the braiding, you don't have to worry about it, it will be better for the tree to not be braided, enjoy your beautiful pachira tree 💗

Money trees aren’t actually just drought tolerant, they need the drought. They need to dry out completely to the bottom of the pot before being watered, since they store water in their trunks. My method of checking is sticking a wooden skewer or chopstick into the pot, leaving it there for a minute, and if it comes out clean and dry, I water.
