Hi guys, I'm pretty new to real gardening and I'm trying very hard to succeed. However I've got a lot of insect mining going on in many of my plants. What is the best way to save the plants and keep the mining from happening going forward? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I find that broccoli are very susceptible to these annoying pests (I’m assuming that’s broccoli you have there or some other brassica). I personally do a daily leaf check and squish those tiny caterpillars within the leaves. You can use sprays as well though probably something suitable for organic gardening if you’re going to eat this. This year I’m growing my broccoli inside under a grow light and so far the pest situation has been much easier to keep at bay 😊

Yes it is broccoli. LOL I should have stated that. Okay, thank you! I have heard just doing it physically daily works along with some Neem oil. I just really don't like the smell of Neem. 😁

Neem oil or - I’m finding out how to use whey or souring milk and water to control the microbes 🦠

Interesting! I'll have to do some research on that. Thank you! I might prefer that over Neem.
