I just moved this Carolina reaper outside and it is starting to wilt and brown. Is that something I am doing wrong? Will it recover?

Do you fertilize? Are there any pests? Three things come to mind with leaf curl - one is the obvious which is heat stress, which means you’ll just have to water more. Second guess is a pest is eating the leaves (check the undersides for mites. They monch on new growth and when the leaf matures, it’ll mature deformed because it’s been eaten.) Third is calcium deficiency which helps plants build strong cell walls. Without it, the leaves can become curled and bubbly looking. 🤔

If you don’t fertilize, it’s probably that.

Move it to an area a little brighter than it was in when inside for a few days. Then work it up to full sun.
