i also have cats that love to trim my plants for me! My best advice would be to chop any stems that have no leaf left on them to encourage new growth. make sure to

leave some of the bigger leaves so it can still photosynthesize. the rest is just waiting for it to grow back unfortunately. My favorite way to fix it though... go buy another palm and pot them together to make it look full again lol
