I bought this gloriosum totally rootbound at a box store. Replanted him and he looks so sad. Is he just pouting because of the change? He’s in aroid soil…east facing window and gets a bit of light from a grow light across the room

    You probably just need to give it time to adjust and recover. It probably wouldn't hurt if you gave it a little root stimulator.

    No, rooting powder and rooting hormone are the same thing and they are for propagating when the plant has no roots. Root stimulator you apply to plants that have roots to encourage it to grow more roots.
