I’m generally newer to plants, and man is it a struggle to find their happy places! Somehow I’m doing really good with the harder to care for plants than the easy ones. Sigh. My prayer plants and calatheas love me, but not spider plants and succulents!

It took me awhile to stop unaliving a few types of plants. Spider plants were definitely one of them. Made more frustrating by people constantly saying "oh spider plants are so easy"....... 🤬

Oddly my change over in spider plants was getting a single leafd dried up husk of a nubbin spider plant. And now I own it, a Hawaiian, and a Bonnie.... like a Boss! 😆

I’ve unalived more than a few spider plants. I’ve got three right now in a plant wall and they look AMAZING!

I’m so glad I’m not alone! Alocasia Tiny Dancer? Supposed to be a little fussy, but mine is perfect and even gave me a little offspring. Spider Plant? Probably one of my worst looking plants. It did give me a little flower recently so I’m hoping we’re getting along better these days!

I’ve found spider plants really benefit from a good plant food. I’ve had one that had been just surviving for quite a few years. But I repotted it in fresh, nutrient-rich soil, and water it with We The Wild Grow Concentrate and DANG! It has taken on a new life I never knew it was capable of! Wait until it dries out almost completely and then absolutely soak that baby. Make sure to dump out any excess water after about an hour. I dont have any in direct sunlight, but they all get as bright indirect as I can give them.
