Oh my gosh! Is that poisonous? How do you treat the plants to keep those suckers off?
0 likesI can’t put anything on them like pesticides because I have two dogs that taste tested a lot of outdoor plants as pups including my oleanders and lantanas which are toxic. So, I just make a daily morning round inspecting my potted plants for them and snails/slugs. I just remove them with tools.
1 likeI’m but sure if it’s poisonous. I never touch them with bare hands. 😬
0 likesAh that makes sense, definitely gotta keep the pups safe, eeeks definitely sounds like a battle. Last year the sidewalks near my house were literally crawling with hoards of some kind of caterpillar, didn’t have outdoor plants back then but I’m dreading it now lol
1 likeI have many snails that are hard to see on my patio. I cringe when I hear them crunch underfoot! 😫 I try to sweep my pathway to avoid stepping on them. They are hard to see. Luckily, the caterpillars are easier to see.
0 likesUgh that would be terrifying, that’s good, have you tried putting salt all around the pathway edges?
