Why is this new leaf on my Monstera turning dark?

    Not good. A plant can still grow if its unhealthy. How many monsteras are in that pot?

    It looks like the variegated sections on it are getting sunburned. It can be challenging to hit the sweet spot of enough light to encourage variegation without so much light that you burn the white sections, but with a little trial and error you'll get there
