Prayer plant dying. Hi! I am a beginner plant owner. I’ve been doing really good at keeping all my plants alive and well besides ONE. This prayer plant has been causing me so many issues. Does anyone know what is wrong with it? He been making sure to water it well, checking to make sure it is not over watered, it does not get direct sunlight but gets indirect. I checked for root rot and there is nothing. Any ideas? Thanks!

Try adding humidity. I mist my prayer plant. Some say that doesn’t do much but once I started mine really perked up. Also possibly more light. Hope this helps!

These are signs of dehydration. The problem is to find out what is causing it. First is watering routine. Soil should be dry about halfway down when you thoroughly water. Water should come out the drain hole. Wait a few minutes and water again. Second, not enough humidity. Percentage needs to be above 50%. Third, it doesn’t like your tap water. It may need distilled, RO, rainwater, or filtered water may work. Not bottled spring water. And leaving water sit overnight does nothing. And lastly, if soil is constantly wet, then the dehydration is caused by root rot. Roots have died and plant cannot take up moisture. These are probably the most common. Hope it helps. If plant looks really bad, chop to soil level and it should revive, with much lighter waterings because of no leaves.
