Got this from Ikea for a fiver and wondered if anyone thinks it is salvageable? Some signs of life but unsure about if I can bring it back to its former glory 🥴 maybe I have high expectations 🤷🏻‍♀️

I believe it can be saved! Even if you lose the leaves, keep the bulb!

As in just strip it right back? Start again as it were?

It’s worth trying to save for the price. I would: - Cut those leaves that are bent/broken. They won’t recover. - Remove the pot and search for a cage/mesh of death around the bulb and remove it, if found - Check the root system for root bound conditions. Repot, if needed. Check for pests in the roots and on the plants.🍀🪴

If I cut the bent ones where is best to cut? As far down stem as I can?

omg you MUST check the soil and see if she produced any corms! you can propagate them & they’re so fun to grow but so so so finicky 🥲

corms look like tiny bulbs about the size of a chickpea. you’ll be able to grow a whole new plant from a corm :)
