Hi all! I’m having some problems with my croton petra, which has never given me any issues before & I’m not quite sure what’s going on. The first pic is 11 days ago and she was all good. She proceeded to drop NINE (!) leaves 5 days ago (pictured). 4 days ago, I checked her roots and gave her some fresh chunky soil in the same size pot (she was in an all purpose potting soil). Today, she dropped more leaves (pictured) so only the 3 newest leaves are left! I can’t see any pests and none of my plants near her have any either. Does anyone have any ideas as to what’s going on / what I can do? Thank you in advance!!!💚

    I repotted mine last year and she dropped every leaf!!! I had to end up cutting the stem way back and put a grow light on her. Finally after about 9 months I have about 6 leaves! I’d always heard they could be dramatic!

    They can be dramatic. Mine will lose a few leaves if I water it a day or 2 later than it would have liked. Yours looks like it needs more light. They get vibrant orange, red and yellow on the leaves with bright light. That may have added to the leaf drop

    I think it’s considered one of the more difficult houseplants. Mine was amazing for a year and then dropped all its leaves and died in a month.
