I've been having problems with fungus gnats for a while now, i've tried hydrogen peroxide, neem oil, insecticidal soap, and insect killing spray from the store... none of them have worked. What should i do, i've been trying to water less as well.

I had a problem as well and I just took my plants outside to get all the old soil off, rinsed the roots made sure everything was healthy and took them back inside to repot with new soil, added systemic granules inside my soil and put mosquito bits on top of the soil after repotting. I seem to have got them under control but I still water with a mosquito bit tea here and there cause I’m traumatized 😭😂 I hear bottom watering helps as well so I’ve been doing that

The mosquito bits will rot on top of the soil tho! So it’s tedious taking them off. instead soak the mosquito bits in water and water as you normally would with the tea. If that doesn’t help then yeah maybe repot cause there may be lots of larva in the soil

This is probably not the best way but I fixed my problem by switching out all of the soil my plants were in an replacing it with new fresh soil

I would discontinue all of the products you're using now and stick with sticky traps and the systemic pesticide or mosquito bites in the soil. The sticky traps capture the adults the systemic kills the larvae. It may take a little while but it should take care of the gnats if you're consistent. Also let your plant dry down more. The gnats lay their eggs in the top couple of inches of moist soil.

I have used the mosquito bits infused water which works well. I have also read that you can add a drop of dish detergent to your watering can to keep pests at bay. So far, so good.

To get rid of fungus gnats I used mosquito bits as directed on the bag and this zevo light. I also stopped misting my plants with a spray bottle at least while I was trying to get rid of them. Repotting could be a final last resort
