Little worried the growth on my rubber plant has massively slowed down, although it’s still growing. There’s a 3 day difference in the photos but do the roots look ok? They look burnt to me. Pretty sure this isn’t normal as I’m sure they didn’t look like this before but I don’t have pics. Any advice will be gratefully received, thank you.

I’m also relatively a plant newbie but those dark brown roots in the last pic don’t look great to me. Either way I’d pull it out and check them out, no harm in that for a generally hearty plant like this. The three day growth doesn’t look bad to me!

I’m going to keep an eye on the roots and growth over the next couple of days and see what happens. I’ll pull it out as a last resort. I’ve transplanted it from water (had root rot) to soil in the last few weeks so don’t really want to pull it but I will if I absolutely need to. Thank you!

It looks great it might be in a little shock if you recently repotted.

You may want to mix peroxide in at the next watering to make sure all rot is gone.
