Can anyone help me identify this fungus? A few of them sprung up under my potted baby monstera and more seem to be on the way

    just some random mushroom that made its way in. i will say that this soil is far too fine for a monstera and you’ll run into problems with it. monstera roots like oxygen and prefer a really well draining soil. i would address this before you have a larger problem on your hands. if you need recs lmk

    Oh! Thanks for catching that. I’ll repot it into something better draining

    If there are mushrooms it usually means good soil health! For a monstera I’d usually recommend a more chunky soil :)

    Yup, my monstera got some little mushrooms a while back! They were cute, but I removed them. +1 to a chunkier soil ✌🏽
