My Striped Calathea had been really healthy until it crisped up last week (I moved out of the direct light). My cat chewed on it a little in the new location , so I moved it again. Now I've noticed some pests that look kinda like tiny spider. My poor plant seems to stressed. Any idea what the pests are and how to help it recover.

Sounds like spider mites. They tend to show up when there’s not enough humidity. Found this on Google: To remove spider mites from prayer plants, start by wiping down leaves with a solution of water, dish soap, and rubbing alcohol. If the infestation is mild, a strong water spray can dislodge the mites. For more severe infestations, consider using neem oil or horticultural soap. Regularly check the plants for signs of re-infestation and repeat treatments as needed. There is more information out there. Feel free to search for other options also. 😉

I’m afraid that is a rather serious infestation. Follow the suggestions but I follow up with respraying the plant about every three days for a couple weeks.
