any advice?

1 likeThank you, i havenāt seen any but I think Iāve seen a few on the plant next to it. Iāve tried the neem spray but it didnāt seem to work
0 likesTheres better options, like a jacks dead bug, growsafe, SNS, castille soap dilution., etc. If it's next to it, it probably also has them. And generally you'll want to treat every few days for like 6-10 weeks to make sure the whole life cycle is killed

1 likeIād have to agree with Wolfen, you may be going just a bit too long between waterings. Is it in a glazed pot or terracotta?
2 likesIām not sure, it was a gift from a friend but it has drainage. And Iām sure watering is definitely part of it Iāve been a little busy this week. Thank you
1 likeNo problem it happens! These guys are pretty resilient. If the inside of the pot is smooth itās likely glazed. If itās rough and feels like concrete itās not glazed. If pots arenāt glazed they will wick moisture from the soil, which is great for cacti. But for most houseplants youāll need to water more frequently. I have a philo in a terracotta pot and I have to water it all the time š¤¦š»āāļø
2 likesAn alternative is to use a plastic pot and place it inside the ceramic/terracotta pot. Almost all my smaller plants are in this configuration. It is convenient to check the roots, no water wicking into the heavy pot, easy to take out to water, and easy to change the outer pot to suit my mood. š
