Can someone help me whether or not I’m tripping out! I bought a Algaonema “ ruby ray “. Two Saturdays ago . The first picture is when I first got the plant day 1 and the other 3 were taken today. The bottom leaves got yellowish and started to droop . I’ve only watered it 2x (once when I got it) and I had to repot it this past Saturday due to last pot falling and breaking so I watered again with new soil. Soil up top is dry enough not damp and down low is damp but not sticking to fingers . I read online the leaves could be old and it’s just their time but i don’t remember them being that yellow

I read online some Reddit posts (Reddit bans me everytime I make an account) but someone said don’t mess with it. It’s normal and the leaves on the bottom are older and it’s just what they go through and those die which is okay

Mine is doing this too. I have had it about 30 days. I think those bottom leaves are just older. The other leaves on your plant look very healthy.

They got discolored really fast within 2 weeks . I’m gonna set my new plants stand with grow lights up and not water it until Monday and see how it goes

Right now they are okay still look the same soil is pretty dry but I’m going to hold out till Monday and see what’s up with them . A friend of mine is coming over to see if they should be messed with but it’s better to neglect em all compared to over protect them
