Can anybody help identify these pests growing on my hibiscus tree? They just appeared this week. I’m located in South Carolina near the coast.

Definitely aphids. They are being farmed by ants who feed on the nectar they secrete. Try an insecticidal soap or neem oil.

The force of a garden hose can knock off most aphids. Neem oil can get into the folds and creases. 🍀🪴
