Ooh I do have a question if you don’t mind! My Anthurium forgetii’s leaves have been facing downward and have a few yellow spots. The plant is in pon/perlite with no reservoir yet, but I do see that the plant has a couple new water roots. It’s in a greenhouse cabinet with 70% humidity and a fan. I thought that maybe the grow lights were too bright for it, so I moved it to a darker spot in the cabinet a few weeks ago, but the leaves are still pointing down. Any ideas?

Interesting. It seems a little stressed, I would try putting it in some natural indirect light and keep it same or higher humidity. If you haven’t already, try a little soluble fertilizer as well.

Dear carmine, My name is andrew and I’m a noob at planting flowers and trees at the moment. Had picked up some rudbeckias from home depot and Shasta flowers, this app says they are harmful to humans, Question : How harmful and should I be concerned about my dog? Chickens and farm animals Question : just picked up this plant, will prune . Is it worth the save?

Mildly toxic, honestly I’ve brushed, moved, and touched these plants over and over without any allergic reactions and I am pretty sensitive to breaking out in rashes from plants. I’ve never noticed any outbreak with these. As far as consumption it would make pets vomit, upset stomachs and diarrhea possibly with a lot of eaten. Small amount not really a huge concern.

Forgot to answer ur other question, yes it looks fine and can be saved. Looked like it went dry then got overwatered then dry again. Probably got stressed because of it and thinned out. Just keep consistent watering habits but not overly watering it. Maybe 2-3x a week
