I recently ordered a potting mix online and this is how it looks. I am not sure what the white stuff is. Is it safe to use this mix?

      That’s perlite. It’s an amendment mixed into the soil to improve aeration

    Yes you can use it perlite is commonly used to amend soil to improve drainage. If you want your soil to have more drainage you can buy a bag of perlite and add more.
