I just got a moon valley plant in the mail, and she is looking ROUGH! I attached two pictures of her and the picture that was advertised. Can she be saved? She doesn’t have mites, the dark spots are just soil from me repotting her. What do I need to do to get her back to what she looked like in the original pic?

It will probably come back but I would still contact the company for unacceptable condition.

Thank you! I made sure to message the seller. The other plant I got with this one was in excellent condition, and was packaged much better, so I am not sure what happened. (I attached the pic of the other plant after repotting it)

She will comeback, just give your love and care, but sure message the seller. Shipping alone doesn’t make this damage.

Shipping stress is common, especially with sensitive plants like Moon Valley. The plant needs time to acclimate to its new environment. Avoid overwatering or fertilizing right now. Let the soil dry slightly between waterings, and hold off on any fertilizer for at least 2–3 weeks. After it settles in and shows signs of new growth, you can begin a light feeding routine.

There’s no way shipping accounted for all that damage. That’s very sad. I hate it when we trust someone and then we get ripped off. I’ve purchased many plants from online sellers, and 9 times out of 10, been very pleased. It’s that tenth one that ticks me off. 😒
