Over half of this guy’s roots had rotted, so I cleaned them up the best I could and moved it from LECA back to chunky soil. Any tips on what to do better? It’s one of my favorite plants, I’ll be so bummed if it doesn’t recover 🙁

    I’d maybe get rid some of the older leaves so it can focus on root growth. Maybe take a cutting to propagate just in case and don’t repot into to big of a pot. That’s the only knowledge I have. I lost two albos to root rot and I ended up cutting it all off and propagated both of them 😩 I WISH YOU LUCK!🍀

    was just in this situation myself, mine lost every single root. honestly, she can be split into multiple pieces. gives you more success and a quicker recovery speed. while it's not focused on leaves, it can recover the root system. all of the cuttings can go in water, mine really enjoyed water. it's been nearly three months and i'm starting to get secondary roots so we're almost back to where we started! it's tough but they're forgiving. most vines are.

    Clonex rooting solution helps to stimulate root growth. Get the solution not the gel.

    Make sure to use a pot with good drainage; rot happens when anything sits in stagnant moisture. You can also add a drainage layer of leca or gravel to the very bottom of the pot to increase drainage where water is most likely to pool
