Hi can any one advise on my Areca? It’s going very out and floppy rather than tall and straight - pic 2 is how it use to look. Does it just need more water?

    I must not be seeing what you see because I think it looks beautiful and perfect! I don’t water mine until the soil is dry… I get a bamboo skewer and stick it to the bottom gently, if it comes up without any dirt on it and dry, then I water.

      Aw that’s good to hear! Yeah I’m usually pretty chilled with watering it but I just noticed the difference in first and second pics - it’s just looking a little sparser!

    this might mean it wants more light! the leaves are turning and going flatter for more surface area to be facing the light
