Does anyone know what’s happening to my mint? the leaves look fine and there are even new leaves growing but the stems look dead so I can’t tell if this is normal. I was thinking it might be something seasonal but where I live there are no seasons so i’m confused.

They can get like this with irregular watering or getting too dry. The older leaves and branches typically die off first. You can remove the dead parts. You can trim low to the soil in early spring. Mint usually comes back thicker and spreads across the pot or ground in spring, the start of the growing season. Mine don’t like getting completely dry before watering. It’s in a large pot. 🪴🍀
