Any help is very appreciated! Recently repotted my fig tree but it started dropping and browning. I repotted with the specific soil made for fig tree.

    Figs like to dry out, I’d make sure that the bottom isn’t full of water!! (Could also give it some fertilizer just to give it an extra boost) I just repotted mine as well!! Good luck!

    Girl what is that. Is that moss? Did you take this plant from soil to moss? How did you treat the roots when you were removing the soil?

    They don’t like to be moved to new locations. They drop leaves. Repotting can disturb and damage roots. This disrupts the water and nutrients intake of the plant. The new pot should only be 2 inches wider than the previous pot to prevent root rot from too much soil to dry out. The moss should be removed. It can slow evaporation by blocking air circulation around the soil. It can attract fungus gnats if it stays continuously wet. The gnats lay eggs on it.
