Hi everyone! I am very new to planting and I just recently got my first 3 yesterday! One being my hibiscus plant ! It was beautiful and perked up yesterday but I went out to check on it today and the flower has already wilted. I worry it may be from a lack of sunlight, but wanted to post in here and get other opinions. Also was curious about the best fertilizer to use ? I’m posting a picture when I got it yesterday and then when I just went and checked on it. Help!
I repotted mine and put it out on the deck. It seems to love it! 😍
Welcome to the plant life. Hibiscus flower blooms are not very long lasting to start with. They keep producing new blooms through the season. Also, the plant has gone through substantial changes in its environments and that shock is bound to show up on the most energy demanding activity i.e. producing blooms. Give the plant some time, and the recommended conditions to get acclimated and it will come back.

Hibiscus flowers typically last one day before dying. Hybrids last longer. Rising home on a hot car can affect it. Changing environment can affect it as EnokiTada described. Give it a few weeks for it to adjust. It could lose more leaves. You can plant it in the ground right away. Just water it well and mulch. I would wait to repot it to avoid additional stress on the plant.
