Little gnat, little gnat. So I have these tiny gnat looking buggos scurrying about in the soils of my indoors plants. They’re too small for a camera to catch. Are they good or are they bad? How to get ride of them?

Could be springtails or soil mites, they aren’t necessarily bad for plants… I also have tons of indoor plants that have some what I assume is springtails, as long as there’s not too many or your plant is in good health I wouldn’t worry about it

1 likeRefreshing your soil will also get rid of the eggs, but you want to make sure to keep on top of them. Neem oil will help as well.

0 likesIf they are fungus gnats I’ve had really good luck using neem cake to control them. Completely eradicated them in all my plants. Another option is DE powder. I usually only use that outdoors but if your environment is well controlled it can be used indoors as well. It is great for getting rid of all sorts of pests.
