Now two out of three kalanchoes have aphids and I don’t know how to get rid of them (I’ve been trying to spray the leaves with a hose to hopefully knock them off). I really don’t want them to die because my Mom got them for the mother’s day after my Nana passed. I have a kalanchoe propagating just in case.. (The left photo is before and right is currently)

Hi! Ugh I am sorry you’re getting aphids, especially with how much those mean to you. For me, I battled aphids for a whole growing season on my outdoor garden and the only thing that seemed to help was using neem oil spray and at the end I gave in and used diatomaceous earth. Those two were the only things that got rid of the aphids for me. I might suggest repotting and using new soil too.

I’ll look into getting some neem oil, then. It’s probably due for repotting, so I’ll make sure to do that. Thank you!! 😊

Also support the neem oil. I had a similar problem and it really seemed to help. Also, I added Bonide Systemic Insect Control to the soil.
