PLEASE HEEEEELP Urgent request, is there any way I can propagate the right arm of this silver spiky palm tree into another pot? I made a post about a month ago regarding his health and had to move him to a better place with more sunlight, now he looks even worse. I really love this plant, is there anything I can do? First photo is the top of the spiky palm, second is the arm I would like to transplant into another home.

To propagate the arm: sterilize a cutting tool (you'll want a sharp knife or even a small saw for something that thick.) Chop the arm straight across as low as is convenient. Lay the pup in a spot with similar lighting that will be sheltered (i usually lay my cactus cuttings flat on a paper plate in my greenhouse.) Wait until a callous forms on the cut (may take a day or weeks depending on conditions.) Then pot the cutting, burying 1/3rd of its height or as much as will fit comfortably in a new pot. Water it thoroughly after potting to encourage new roots and proceed with normal care from there. You can also cut back any remaining arm on the main plant to clean it up. You'll want to watch that spot to make sure it stays sterile as the mother plant heals
