Hi everyone I have a small syngonium red heart which I believe is currently the bane of my life. Twice now she’s has big browning soft leaves. I only water her from the bottom unless I’m fertilising and she’s was in a part chunky mix, now in a tropical mix soil. I’ve checked her roots and no sign or rot anywhere. Before I changed the soil it was dry on the top and bottom but still quite wet in the middle. Am I best to just wait it out in the new soil as this app is saying it’s underwatered. Also how much light do these need? I feel like I’m getting a lot of conflicting care suggestions online Thank you

I have had one for about 4 months. I lost a leaf at first when it was under my grow light. Now I keep it on a bright windowsill without direct sunlight. I also mist it every day. And it has done a ton better almost tripled in size.

Thank you. I’ve moved it to a shelf where the morning sun dips just under. I think it may of been too little sunlight and I have it on a tray of perlite and water. So will try misting again after it’s dried out and I’ve got rid of the perlite. So trial and error on if it was too much moisture, wrong soil and not enough light. Thank you for confirming a couple of these
