How old is this plant? And when did you get it? Have you ever repotted?

What type of soil? When I got mine at first, I’m telling you it took two years of losing leafs kinda like yours. I got frustrated because I’d leave it alone and it would do that, then I would repot it in fresh soil and it would do that. lol my tips to you, make sure the soil is not too dense and really let it dry out between watering. It will take a very long time for it to properly adapt to its environment (especially since it’s November). I’ve notice mine only likes distilled or rain water, when I do water I make sure it dips out the bottom (always top water-the roots sit higher in the soil). I also had a grow light on it for a bit and noticed it only really helps in the winter (as it can burn very easy in the summer when the sun is stronger). I’d say just give it some time, leave it alone and make sure to let it dry out between each watering. As long as it always has new growth from the top (usually come out red at first-the plant is healthy) I added a picture , he is now three years old.

That sounds good, yeah just give it some time. Winter sucks too for plants unfortunately

I have also had mine for quite a few years now with the frustration of losing leaves just like this. I found it interesting that the roots sit closer to the top of the plant, I didn’t know that. It’s only been about a year now where bottom watering(with rotational top watering) has been really helping her thrive but I’ve also never repotted so perhaps mines a bit more spread throughout the pot

Mine too! It was thriving for months and now it’s yellowing and losing a lot of leaves. But still new growth coming. Everyone says edema from overwatering but I always let it dry out. Now thinking soil is too dense 🤷🏻‍♀️
