Help! I bought a croton a about a week ago and finally went to repot it. The root balls are teeny! My smallest pots are much bigger than these roots. Any suggestions?

Do you have any plastic cups you can sacrifice for the cause and punch some drainage holes in? Good temp fix until they get a little bigger or you can go get some pots

honestly, i think you just need to go and buy some 2" and 3" pots 💔 plants themselves look gorgeous though!

I’ve planted cuttings with little roots into pots that are too big but I don’t fill them all the way with soil so they don’t stay too wet. Clear pots are great because you can see when the roots grow enough to repot properly!

I wash out those little plastic condiments containers and poke holes in the bottom to make temp tiny planters for propagating plants … You can see through them for when roots grow plus they tend to be shallow enough for tiny root clusters
